WirelessNorth.ca: Fido’s funny new design

They're scared. What about rogers? Is there still a 911 fee?
  • Matt - Kerplunc · 1 year ago
Wow i like it. Much nicer then the old dark design they had.

Looks like an airport of car park company - such as http://www.ncp.co.uk/

Quite fitting really, it really looks as cheap and pathetic as the service they offer.

At first glance it looked like a sketch of the site. I still can't login, much like the previous "new" site.

Makes me pine even more for the good old days -- you know, when they actually had handsets that people wanted:

I love this quote that the Globe and Mail quoted:

"Fido's Mr. Roy said the changes to his carrier's services are not related to what the new entrants might offer in the months ahead. “We have been in a competitive market for 12 years,” he said."

Ya, sure, whatever you say Mr. Roy.

    In the fine prints,

"Text messages received from another mobile phone are free. There is a charge per text message received via E-mail to your Fido and for premium text messages (alerts, messages related to content, contests and promotions)."

Messages related to content. Ha. Are they going to start charging for twitter?

I thought they always had, unless you had a text message plan that it would get deducted from.
